Growing up in the hotel industry, Jenny Kachkar began her career as a publicist for the Mayfield Inn and Stage West Theatre in 1985, promoting the 350-room hotel, 8 restaurants and lounges and an extensive banquet and conference facility, complete with Stage West Theatre. She represented over 150 films and television stars along with world famous comedians promoting over 120 Broadway and off-Broadway productions all produced at Stage West. She soon became the Advertising & Promotions Manager and remained affiliated with the company for close to 25 years.
She then joined The Fantasyland Hotel at the world’s largest shopping and entertainment complex, West Edmonton Mall.
In 1999, The Kachkar Group was established and Jenny Kachkar was retained by various companies to assist with Marketing and Sales initiatives.
Her Public Relations expertise has had her represent the Federal Government with Elections Canada as the Director of Communications for Alberta, BC, and the NWT.
Jenny Kachkar’s creative and unique marketing strategies has landed her clients with appearances on CNN, Much Music, Discovery Channel, full feature stories, magazine covers and on practically every television and radio station in Alberta and BC.
The Kachkar Group produces various tradeshows and extensive special events including the Health & Wellness Show in four major markets throughout the province and was retained by three years by the Medicine Hat District Chamber of Commerce to produce their Home & Garden Show, Home & Leisure Show, and the South Alberta Petroleum Show.
Today, The Kachkar Group produces five shows per year; consults for several different hotel and restaurants and supports many non-profit organizations with various fundraising initiatives and events.
